    I'm stuck playing bass at church during the third period. Might have to sneak away when the worship set is over to see how the game is doing.

    WHAT A GAME! I watched it at the CTV studios on a large screen they set up for the game. I thought the Americans outplayed the Canadians in the third but I was still crushed when Parise tied it. Then he shoots, he scores! The euphoria on the streets was awesome! All sorts of people with Canadian flag capes (including myself) and everyone was high-fiving everyone.

    The closing ceremony was disappointing. Neil Young was good, but Nickelback, Avril Lavigne, Michael Buble?
    She did everything with a flourish
    As if it were a masterpiece
    The final stroke of her paint brush
    Or simply walking down the street
